Chapter - 3

3:10

"Indeed, those who disbelieve — never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all. And it is they who are fuel for the Fire."

3:12

"Say to those who disbelieve, 'You will be overcome and gathered together to Hell, and wretched is the resting place.'"

3:28

"Let not believers take disbelievers as allies rather than believers. And whoever [does that] has nothing [to do] with Allah, unless you are guarding yourselves against them out of prudence."

3:91

"Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers — never would the [whole] capacity of the earth in gold be accepted from one of them if he would seek to ransom himself with it. For those there will be a painful punishment, and they will have no helpers."

3:151

"We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve for what they have associated with Allah of which He had not sent down authority..."

3:12
"Say to those who have disbelieved, 'You will be overcome and gathered to Hell, and wretched is the resting place.'"
(This refers to kafirs or non-believers.)

3:19

"Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. And those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them—out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever denies the signs of Allah—indeed, Allah is swift in account."
(Refers to those who disbelieve and deny the signs of Allah.)

3:28
"Let not the believers take the disbelievers as allies rather than the believers. And whoever does that has nothing with Allah, except when taking precaution against them in prudence. And Allah warns you of Himself, and to Allah is the final return."
(Refers to kafirs or non-believers who are to be avoided as allies.)

3:67
"Ibrahim was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a hanif, a Muslim [submitting to Allah] and was not of the polytheists."
(Here, polytheists are mentioned as those who do not follow the true faith.)

3:85
"And whoever desires other than Islam as a religion—never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers."
(Refers to those who reject Islam and follow other religions, implying non-believers.)

3:116
"Indeed, those who disbelieve—never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah. And those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally."
(Refers to kafirs and their inability to escape punishment.)

3:118
"O you who have believed, do not take as allies those who take your religion in mockery and play from among those who were given the Scripture before you and the disbelievers. And fear Allah, if you should be believers."
(Refers to disbelievers and emphasizes not to take them as allies.)

3:151
"We will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved because they associated others with Allah, for which He had not sent down authority. And their refuge will be the Fire, and wretched is the residence of the wrongdoers."
(Refers to the polytheists and disbelievers who associate others with Allah.)

3:197
"A brief enjoyment; then their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the resting place."
(Refers to disbelievers who will face eternal punishment.)

3:199
"And indeed, among the People of the Scripture are those who believe in Allah and in what has been revealed to you and in what was revealed to them, humbling themselves before Allah. They do not exchange the signs of Allah for a small price. Those will have their reward with their Lord. Indeed, Allah is swift in account."
(This contrasts believers with disbelievers from the People of the Scripture.)

3:200
"O you who have believed, persevere and endure and remain stationed and fear Allah that you may be successful."
(Encourages believers to stay steadfast, in contrast to the disbelievers.)
