Chapter - 98

 

🔹 Surah Al-Bayyina (98:1)

"Those who disbelieve among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists (mushrikun) did not desist until there came to them clear evidence."

Direct reference to disbelievers (kafir) and polytheists (mushrikun), including the People of the Book and idol worshipers.


🔹 Surah Al-Bayyina (98:2)

"A messenger from Allah, reciting purified scriptures."

— Refers to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) bringing the clear message to disbelievers (kafir) and others.


🔹 Surah Al-Bayyina (98:3)

"Contained therein are upright scriptures."

— The scriptures are in contrast to the false beliefs of disbelievers and polytheists.


🔹 Surah Al-Bayyina (98:4)

"And the People of the Scripture did not differ except after the clear evidence had come to them."

— This verse addresses the People of the Book (Jews and Christians), highlighting their differences despite the clear evidence of truth, contrasting with the disbelievers (kafir) and those who reject faith.


🔹 Surah Al-Bayyina (98:5)

"And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and give zakah. And that is the correct religion."

— This verse speaks about the right path and the contrast with those who reject the call to sincere worship, which is the opposite of disbelief and polytheism.


🔹 Surah Al-Bayyina (98:6)

"Indeed, those who disbelieve – among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists – will be in Hellfire, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures."

Direct mention of disbelievers (kafir), polytheists (mushrikun), and their fate in Hellfire.


🔹 Surah Al-Bayyina (98:7)

"Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds – those are the best of creatures."

— Contrasting believers (those who have faith) with disbelievers (kafir) and polytheists (mushrikun), affirming that the believers are the best.


🔹 Surah Al-Bayyina (98:8)

"Their reward with their Lord will be gardens of eternity beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. Allah will be pleased with them, and they will be pleased with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord."

— The reward of believers is contrasted with the fate of disbelievers and polytheists.
